High pressure water surface cleaning

1.-Used Aprons

Our company knows well the problem of waste grease, oils and fuels in aircraft aprons, so we have developed in recent years a system of decontamination of those areas based on:
1) An application on the cleaning surface of a chemical product, then waiting some time to penetrate deep into the pores of the concrete. Our chemical product, biodegradable and environmentally friendly, has shown its effectiveness in highly polluted areas, where the water pressure by itself will not produce the same result.

2) We throw high pressure hot water on the pavement, using a 225 hp pump., 90 liters / minute flow and working with pressures between 200 and 1,000 kg/cm2. We can set the working pressure accurately. A heating system, rises the water temperature to 85 ° C. The equipment has a working width of 175 cms. and it is completely autonomous.

3) We collect, with a powerful suction turbine built into the system, the water containing waste, and we store into an   ADR Deposit mounted on the vehicle.
Then the waste is transported, to the place designated by the Airport Authority, for treatment, or directly outside the airport to an Authorized Waste Center.

Using this procedure we have clean many stands  in different airports like Madrid / Barajas,Palma de Mallorca...,  getting very satisfactory results.

2.- New aprons, runways and taxiways

On the new construction aprons, runways and taxiways or the ones that have received modifications, often accumulate  different types of dirt (mud, dust...).
The problem is solved using PROYSESA cleaning equipment, described in the previous section, working with hot or cold water, at pressures between 400 and 750 atmospheres, getting a total cleaning of the surfaces without affecting the pavement, joints.

3.- Docks cleaning

At the docks, gas stations,... due to parking of vehicles, machinery and fuel tank spills occur, accumulating grease deposits, hydraulic oils, fuels, etc..

The cleaning process begins with the application on the contaminated surface of a biodegradable degreasing product by an industrial equipment, after the application our product acts properly on the grease or oils, around 10 minutes.

Then we apply onto the pavement hot water (between 400-500 Kg/cm2 of pressure) , about 80 degrees, and immediately the cleaning equipment vacuums the dirty water into the equipment tank . After this process he surface is clean and free of dirt.

¿Why this cleaning is necessary ? 


On rainy days, because of the concrete characteristics (low coefficient of friction) the accumulation of grease and oils can cause accidents when machinery and vehicles try to break or to turn, because of lack of adhesion to the pavement .


When an area is contaminated affects to the air,water, underground water, and soil . Besides it is a dynamic contamination because the contaminants move through the permeable layers and  facilitate their dispersion and this increases the affected area.
Greases and oils accumulated as a result of the rains, may go to the sewer system and may cause contamination of a bigger area and underground aquifers in the area.


Last but not least, the accumulation of these wastes on the facilities, damage the customer company image .
